Alternative format materials for students
Students may be provided with course materials in alternative formats where required. Written materials may be provided in large print, Braille or electronic format for use with text to speech software. Visual materials (like DVDs and YouTube clips) may be captioned for those with a hearing impairment. Students eligible for alternative format course materials must have this service negotiated as part of their Access Plan.
Production of alternative format materials require a minimum 3 week production time so it is important that materials are requested before classes commence.
