To coincide with work beginning a new UniSA research plan, UniSA’s Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise Professor Marnie Hughes-Warrington challenged key staff to a bake off.
Prof Hughes-Warrington challenged Executive Deans, Deans of Research and Directors of Research Institutes and Centres to bake sausage rolls or cupcakes and share their handiwork on Twitter.
She also ran a number of online polls asking people to vote on which academic unit was home to the University’s best bakers.
Savoury beat sweet in an early poll to determine what to bake, winning 63 per cent of the vote.
Preliminary round winners for “best bakers” included UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance, UniSA STEM and UniSA Creative but UniSA STEM won the grand final with 60 per cent of the vote.
