Staff wellbeing is a priority in UniSA's Safety and Wellbeing Strategic Plan 2016-2018. In particular, there is a focus on creating a workplace and learning environment that supports and nurtures the mental wellbeing of our staff and students so that they can thrive and perform at their best.

We provide a range of tools, resources, services and programs to assist in managing physical health and mental wellbeing. This includes an Employee Assistance Program, mental health program, an influenza vaccination program, medical services and corporate private health discounts. For further information, visit the Wellbeing @ UniSA website. If you are new to Australia, our health system is widely regarded as being world-class. The Australian health system incorporates two types of health cover, private health insurance and government funded treatment which is also known as public health cover.
