Studying online has been a great experience. I can’t believe that I managed to complete my first semester online with flying colours while working full time. I found online study very convenient - it saves a lot of time and energy. It has been great interacting with teaching staff online and the professors are very helpful and kind and support online students. I also learnt a lot of new technologies so overall I am quite satisfied.
I have been passionate about nursing since childhood. The most enjoyable part of studying at UniSA was the clinical placements. I was lucky enough to be offered placements in every critical setting including ICU, HDU, theatre and recovery in leading hospitals. There have been very steep learning curves and so many life experiences gathered during this time.
I think the University of South Australia really puts a lot of thought into how students can achieve their dreams after graduation. It is not only about studying but the university community also supports us with job opportunities. I am comfortable living in Adelaide. The city is not too crowded and not too quiet, and I think the memories in Adelaide will be the one I miss the most.
What I really like about UniSA is that everyone is very friendly and helpful. I also really like that topics are divided into lectures and tutorials, so we get the chance to learn the theory and then apply it to real life issues, which makes studying really interesting and interactive. Adelaide is really green and close to the beach and the Adelaide Hills - there is always plenty to see and explore.
I enjoyed the online study experience and got a great final achievement with a GPA of 7.0. I got responses from teachers quickly, which helped me significantly understand the materials of the course. Also, PASS session provided extra help for me to review the contents of the course as well as interacting with fellow students.
I am impressed by the research-based approach of the renowned Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science. Their concepts and theories are backed by researches and practical for marketing professionals. I enjoyed the community garden a lot! It's not only a place for coffee and plants but also a weekly event for meeting friends and network building.
