Release

If the student has accepted an offer with the University of South Australia and wishes to study at another provider, prior to completing six calendar months of study in their highest program, they will need to apply to the University to be released before they can accept the offer with the other provider. The Enrolment Policy details the circumstances in which the University will and will not approve a transfer to another provider. To apply for a release, ask the student to complete the Release Request form. This form along with any supporting documentation will need to be submitted to the University as per the instructions on the form. If the student is not released, they will need to continue their studies at the University to comply with their student visa conditions.

If the student is studying with another provider and would like to study at the University of South Australia the student will need to submit a new application to the University of South Australia. If the student has been studying at their current provider for less than six calendar months they will need to apply to their current provider to be released. The student will not be allowed to accept their offer with University of South Australia unless their original provider approves the release.
