    Parking

On-campus parking is available to students, staff members and visitors at UniSA Magill and Mawson Lakes. On-Campus parking provisions are not available at UniSA City East or City West campuses, however there are a variety of commercial car parking providers close to these campuses.

The University of South Australia uses an electronic pay-as-you-go parking system, 'Parki', provided by Care Park.

Physical permits are not issued for parking. Virtual Permits (V-Permits) are used and utilise ‘License Plate Recognition’ (LPR) to ensure monitoring of all car parks. It is essential when applying for parking permits or using the Parki app that you give the correct registration number of your vehicle. All users must abide by the Parking Guidelines

The UniSA Parki app is free to use and can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhone and Google Play for Android. Parking payments are made by direct debit via your credit/debit card. If you don’t have a compatible phone, you can still pay for parking at one of the pay-by-plate machines located on campus.

Staff members and postgraduate students based at Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses can apply for a Staff Parking Permit through the Permit Portal. This permit allows staff members and postgraduate students to park in zones marked in green on the Magill Parking Map and the Mawson Lakes Parking Map. Permanent and fixed-term contract staff who wish to salary sacrifice their parking can do so by completing the HRIS040 and emailing to parking@unisa.edu.au

Visitor parking is available at Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses. Visitor parking zones are marked in yellow on the Magill Parking Map and Mawson Lakes Parking Map.

For pay-by-plate machine support or Parki app support, please call 08 8212 3422 or email parkingsupport@carepark.com.au

    Access parking

Accessible parking is available on all campuses. Please visit the Access Parking page or contact the FM Assist team on your campus for more information.

    Motorcycle parking

Staff and students can apply for an annual permit via the Permit Portal. A motorcycle permit entitles the holder to park at either City East, Magill or Mawson Lakes campuses in a designated motorcycle bay.

Permits are valid for the year of issue and are free of charge. In the event there is no park available, motorcycles are permitted to park in the Casual/Visitor zones (Magill and Mawson Lakes Campus Only) and MUST pay via the UniSA Parki app or Pay-by-Plate machines.

Alternatively, Staff may apply via the Permit Portal which allows multiple vehicle registrations(including a motorcycle) refer to the Staff Parking page for more information or contact FM Assist
