Twenty-eight UniSA students were among 79 participants to attend Study Adelaide’s Camp Adelaide event in Guangzhou, China in May.

Camp Adelaide was designed to introduce Adelaide to new students who are enrolled at a South Australian institution but unable to travel to Australia because of the pandemic.

The two-day event saw students participate in a range of activities including an Australian study and employment workshop, a TikTok dance challenge, a PwC China job market workshop, and an Access Adelaide mini exhibition.

UniSA student Xinyi Xu was invited to speak at the event, sharing her own experiences of studying online during the pandemic.

UniSA Sport winners

UniSA student athletes won a third of the awards on offer at the UniSport Australia Awards in a sweep that set a record for South Australian representation.

UniSA’s award recipients were congratulated on their respective achievements at a reception at Pridham Hall in June, attended by UniSA Vice Chancellor Professor David Lloyd.
