Explainer video: How do you deal with a child who stutters?

HEALTH

UniSA speech pathologist Kat Bray provides some tips for parents to help their children overcome a stutter: be patient, don’t finish their sentences, praise them, build their confidence and find a good speech therapist who uses the Lidcombe Program, a behavioural treatment for young children who stutter.
