AI Industry Insights - Amplifying AI innovation and adoption (Held on Friday 10 October 2025)
In collaboration with the South Australian Department for State Development, the University of South Australia’s Industrial AI Research Centre hosted the 2025 AI Industry Insights event. Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2024, this year’s gathering continued to drive momentum behind AI-driven innovation in South Australia’s industrial sectors.
This year’s event held particular significance as it preceded the opening of Adelaide University in 2026- a landmark merger between UniSA and the University of Adelaide that will establish one of Australia’s largest concentrations of AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning research capability.
Highlights from the event included:
- Insightful discussions on the role of AI in shaping South Australia’s economic future.
- Case studies demonstrating how AI contributes to sustainable business success and growth.
- Exploration of the value of industry-research collaboration in driving innovation in product development and manufacturing.
- A panel discussion featuring keynote speakers, industry leaders, and experts from the Industrial AI Research Centre, addressing opportunities and challenges in AI adoption.
The event concluded with a relaxed networking session, offering attendees the chance to connect with peers and researchers and explore potential collaborations with the Industrial AI Research Centre.
