About 75% of cancer patients undergoing treatment have problems with thinking, attention and memory – known as Cancer Related Cognitive Impairment (CRCI). One third continue to suffer CRCI after treatment, often leaving them in significant emotional distress with a reduced ability to work and difficulties performing everyday tasks.

BBB researchers are working with clinicians and patients to develop interventions that reduce the impact of CRCI, enabling cancer patients to live their best life during and after treatment.
