Presentation by Dr Marianne Gillam, Research Fellow University of South Australia Department of Rural Health
Dr Marianne Gillam is a Public Health Physician and a Fellow of the Australian Faculty of Public Health Physicians (FAFPHM). She holds a PhD in Public Health and a Masters of Biostatistics. At the University of South Australia Department of Rural Health, she is conducting research in the areas of rural workforce development, models of care and collecting data on workforce outcomes resulting from the rural academic programs. She is currently actively involved in evaluation projects in regional and remote South Australia including an evaluation of a community health program that supports initiatives for mental wellbeing, physical health and early childhood development in a remote South Australian community.
