Learning Opportunities

There are a number of other education opportunities co-ordinated by the Department of Rural Health for both rural staff and students on rural placement.

These include:

Interprofessional Education

Interprofessional Education is when students from two or more professions learn with, from and about each other to improve collaboration and quality of care.  Opportunities may include student clinics, weekly catch-ups and community events.

For students on placement, please check your emails for notifications of activities being provided at your placement site.

The following workshops are scheduled at various times throughout the year.

Health Professional Education

The Department of Rural Health is developing a suite of online resources that are readily accessible to health professionals in rural locations.

A number of these recordings are of past education sessions, that were delivered via the video conferencing system, and are now readily available for staff who were unable to attend.
