Workforce Education
At the Rural Health and Aged Care Education Centre, we provide high-quality learning experiences and education for both current and future members of the workforce, including aged care staff and local health professionals.
Every week, we hold an interprofessional education (IPE) program, where students completing their placement at Matthew Flinders Home participate in educational sessions to learn how professionals from different disciplines approach various scenarios. Through collaborative learning, students develop an interprofessional approach to practice, gaining a better understanding of the roles of health professionals from a variety of disciplines.
