Rural Health & Aged Care
Education Centre
UniSA has partnered with Matthew Flinders Home, an aged care provider in Port Lincoln to establish the Rural Health and Aged Care Education Centre. The centre was funded by the Commonwealth Government, under an expansion of the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) Program.
The RHMT Program aims to enhance rural training experiences for nursing and allied health students in a rural aged care setting. The purpose-built Rural Health and Aged Care Education Centre features dedicated teaching spaces to support the learning and development of rural health professionals, fostering effective clinical learning experiences for students and the local workforce.
