The goals of the Languages Professional Learning Program (LPLP) include increasing access and retention of students studying languages into the senior years by improving pedagogical approaches to language learning.
The LPLP is intended to strengthen pedagogical approaches to language(s) learning in schools through deepening teacher engagement with languages curriculum frameworks and in articulation with DfE strategies, priorities that include the Learning Design Assessment and Moderation strategy.
The focus leads towards intentional, responsive learning and assessment in languages for all students.
