Children’s problematic sexual behaviour in schools: Identifying and addressing collaborative responses to incidents

IChildren leaving a schoolbust is hypothesised that teachers and schools provide some support to children displaying PSBs but that these efforts are restricted due to a lack of internal resources and capacity.

It is further hypothesised that through collaborative efforts, a collaborative framework can be developed to support teachers and schools further meet children’s needs, fill gaps and overcome barriers to responding holistically.

This exploratory study will increase the knowledge base in the area of inter-agency collaboration and highlight the role that schools can play in responding to problematic sexual behaviour.
