Families involved with child protection during the perinatal period

The research undertaken as part of this ACCP project, funded by an ARC Discovery grant, has examined the nature, extent and impact of the removal of infants (<1 year old) and newborns from their mothers.

DCP Enhancing Practice PhD Scholarship

In partnership with the SA Government, the ACCP developed a ground-breaking new public health approach towards addressing child abuse, through the Early Intervention Research Directorate (EIRD), which recognised child abuse and neglect as a health pandemic.
