Our school holiday sessions will take you on a captivating journey across the Universe. Join one of our highly experienced astronomers as they guide you through constellations, the Solar System and beyond. Marvel at the immense scale of the universe and observe the breathtaking beauty of the night skies projected on the domed ceiling. The general sessions run for 60mins and feature a full-dome movie. Family fun to suit all ages! Tickets from $12 per person
We see the stars in our night sky as tiny twinkling dots, but how big are they compared to our Sun? What would happen to our Solar System if we swapped our Sun for any of these stars? Would our Earth still be habitable if we had a different sun? Find out in this fun, educational and informative session. Included in the session is the fulldome movie Sunstruck. Tickets $20 per person. Recommended age 8+
Black holes are the strangest objects in the universe. What exactly is a black hole? How big are they and how big can they get? There's only one way to find out... Included in the session is the fulldome movie Hot and Energetic Universe. Tickets $25.00 per person. Recommended age 10+
Drop your kids off for a 4-hour fun-filled space session where they will learn about the solar system in detail including visiting the planets full-dome, learn about stars and make constellations, plus a Planetarium session with a full-dome movie. Tickets $40.00 per person. Recommended age 7-12. A drink bottle, snacks and packed lunch required.
*If parents do wish to stay for part of or the whole duration of this session, you are welcome to, however, if we are at capactiy you will be unable to be involved in the Planetarium part. If we do have capacity then you are welcome to join the children, there will be a small charge to enter the Planetarium, payable on the day.
This session takes you on an incredible journey through our solar system. We reveal close up the Sun, the Planets and their moons, asteroids and comets, and plunge into the Kuiper belt. Discover the hidden beauty of our celestial home and see it in wavelengths not visible to the unaided eye. This sessions includes a fulldome movie. A must for the whole family.
