Tips for graduation day
If you are feeling unwell on the day you should not attend the event. Stay at home and seek medical advice.
Allow enough time for travel to the venue or car parking to ensure there is no need to rush and you don’t arrive late for the ceremony. Road closures in Hindley Street will be in place. Parking restrictions in the area are enforced.
- Hindley Street will be closed west of Clarendon Street and east of Liverpool Street. Clarendon and Liverpool Streets will remain open to traffic.
Be prepared for the weather. As the graduations utilise different locations across City West campus dress for the conditions.
Cloakroom facilities are not available at the ceremonies.
In the event of an emergency the evacuation points are Light Square and George Street (northern end). Emergency exits are marked on the walls of all campus buildings.
