UniSA at-home graduations
Thousands of UniSA students were due to attend graduations ceremonies during April and May but because of social distancing, graduation ceremonies had to be postponed.
While students’ awards were conferred in absentia, graduation ceremonies were sorely missed.
UniSA decided to run a competition on social media, asking graduands to show us how they’re celebrating at home.
Numerous students submitted photos of clever and creative ways they were undertaking do-it-yourself graduation ceremonies and celebrations.
Three entrants won a UniSA prize pack, including a GFP Graduations bear and Rewards International plaque voucher.
The University plans to reschedule graduation ceremonies later in 2020 subject to the advice of relevant authorities.
