Gestures of Care - revealing our resilience

6 November 2025 to
30 january 2026

Gestures of Care - revealing our resilience is a collaboration between The Art Bus artists, Uniting Communities, and families in the North, South and West of Adelaide. Celebrating communities that are often viewed as marginalised and at risk, this dynamic, interactive exhibition reflects and explores practices of care within communities through processes of printmaking, painting, ceramics, storytelling and installation. The exhibition recognises that everyday gestures of care and practices of deep listening, attention and reciprocity can have profound community impacts and transform lives. Gestures of Care - revealing our resilience encourages audiences to consider collective care as a way to sustain each other, to build connections, stronger communities and create change in our precarious worlds.

Gestures of Care is presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre, The Art Bus and Uniting Communities
