Match Studio offers a range of one-off and multi-session workshops for business, government and community organisations. The workshops build awareness, skills and capacity for systems thinking, user-centred design, co-design and design thinking approaches. Participants then apply these learnings to stimulate innovation in their organisations and enhance the way they think and act to resolve challenges. The workshops provide a cost-effective engagement with the UniSA’s diverse knowledge resource.

Teachers will engage in two half-day hands-on workshops focused on design thinking and the business model canvas.
The workshop will be delivered to teachers seeking professional learning in design thinking competency and/or support for the delivery of design thinking methodology. The workshop will be tailored to the participating teachers to equip them with a broad range of tools to deliver and co-design problem-based learning projects, incorporate human-centred design concepts, and the various aspects of the business model canvas.

To date, teachers from more than 140 secondary schools in South Australia have attended this workshop. The workshop was designed to provide the participating teachers with exercises and challenges that could be delivered directly to their students. This has a two-fold impact: firstly, to provide teaching tools and resources, and secondly, to learn from a student’s perspective. Teachers will engage in a hands-on half-day workshop focused on the business model canvas and value proposition canvas. The workshop will be delivered to teachers seeking professional learning in how to competently deliver the business model canvas and the value proposition in a Year 11 and/or Year 12 classroom. The workshop will be tailored to equip teachers with a number of exercises and case study challenges that they can use in their lesson planning and classroom delivery.
The workshop will enable the participating teachers to enhance their knowledge by practicing to use the business model canvas through a number of case study challenges.
