Enrol in a Match Studio elective.

Are you prepared to work hard, meet people that you would not otherwise have met, and most of all, have a fun and rewarding experience? These elective courses will give you practical project experience, help you to further your interpersonal and professional skills, and develop an awareness of workplace culture and expectations.

You will get to work with real clients on real-world challenges and will create tangible outcomes you can add to your CV. Match Studio projects support students to gain applied experience linked to your program, develop transferable skills and enhance your employability prospects.

Take part in project-focused research, design and implementation, applying systems-thinking, design-thinking and co-design to tackle real challenges. Course work is delivered across differing models, including stand-alone grade bearing electives, satellite projects within existing disciplinary-based courses, student interns undertaking Match Studio projects as work placements, and non-compulsory work placements.

Participating in a studio project will give you experience in:

  • collaborative practice
  • project stakeholder engagement and client consultation
  • client-focused concept development
  • project development based on client feedback
  • project costing
  • time and project management skills.

How do I participate?

Anyone can study with Match Studio! It does not matter what you are studying as all studio projects require a multi-disciplinary approach (please note some projects will specify which disciplines are suitable).
