In 2017, Match Studio engaged the Innovation in Social Housing 90 Day Project, a collaborative study led by Office for the Ageing in partnership with Housing SA and Renewal SA to seek new forms of social housing in South Australia’s over 50s.
Students and staff developed a set of strategic design tactics that suggest opportunities for innovation in relation to the provision of socially conscious housing for the ageing population. Their findings were made available to RenewalSA who are using them to inform the inclusion of age-friendly elements in current social housing development they’re undertaking.
Dr Damian Madigan presented the report at the ‘Building Opportunities for a Lifetime Showcase Event’.
