Liz McKinnon is a goal-focused leader with two decades of experience in government and media relations.  She is a confident communicator recognised for vision, innovation, passion, and effective advocacy.

She has demonstrated flexibility and proven ability to transition across sectors and roles.

Liz is Director of EHM Advisory, supporting the plantation and agricultural sector, leading advocacy, stakeholder management and strategic communications.

Prior to commencing this role Liz was South Australia’s inaugural Cross Border Commissioner, identifying opportunities and strategies to support proactive and positive cross-border economic and social outcomes.

With formal qualifications in journalism, Liz has held a wide range of positions, including Chief of Staff for the Townsville Bulletin, Media Adviser for the Premier of Victoria, Hon Denis Napthine, Economic Development, Tourism and Communication Manager for Glenelg Shire Council and Executive General Manager of Green Triangle Forest Industries Hub.

Liz has also contributed to the community, including past Board positions with Casterton Memorial Hospital and Generations in Jazz Festival.  She holds current Board positions with Forestry SA and the Green Triangle Freight Action Committee.
