Executive Management Consultant
Education is the focus and passion of Dr Paul Kilvert's professional life. He is committed to ensuring that education enhances people's quality of life, expands their future pathways and contributes to creating a just and prosperous society.
Dr Kilvert began his professional career as an English teacher and has held senior leadership roles in education over many years.
He was Principal of Unley High School from 1990 to 1999. From 2000 to 2007 he worked in a number of senior executive roles in the then Department of Education and Children's Services, and when he left was the Executive Director, Policy, Planning and Performance.
From 2007 to 2013 Dr Kilvert was the Chief Executive of the SACE Board of South Australia with responsibility for the South Australian Certificate of Education in partnership with schools and key stakeholders.
He is currently an Executive Management Consultant with a professional interest in change management, development of policy and strategy, and the use of systems thinking strategies to build the capacity of leaders and their organisations.
Dr Kilvert is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He contributes to the work of Boards in the not for-profit sector and provides mentoring and coaching to individual executives.
