The University of South Australia is seeking participants for a 2-day/1-night live-in lab study commencing November 2024.
The study aims to examine the effects of sleep loss on AR/VR test performance after 27 hours of sleep deprivation. It will involve a period of sleep restriction (5 hours of sleep at home followed by 27 hours of wakefulness).
The study includes performance testing and questionnaires.
Gender: male and female
Age: 18-40
Other criteria: healthy, non-smoking adults with no history of sleep disorders and do not wear glasses
Participants will be financially compensated with an honorarium of up to $350 for their participation in the study.
