Enquiries about records held by the University
All DVA data held by UniSA is in the process of being returned to the DVA for secure archiving. If you would like to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, you may wish to direct this to DVA as UniSA is unable to access any data originating from DVA. Details are available on the DVA website.
Alternatively, if you have questions about any records held by the University, you may make an application to the University’s Privacy Officer or FOI Officer.

Any privacy related questions about the program may be directed to the UniSA Privacy Officer at: privacy.officer@unisa.edu.au.
You will be contacted in writing if the University requires further information from you in order to determine your request.
You will be provided with a written response.
Freedom of Information Requests
FOI applications for documents held by UniSA can be made by emailing: FOI@unisa.edu.au.
You will need to provide a postal address to which correspondence can be sent and proof of your identity.
Once the University receives this information, it will determine whether the documents requested by you are held by the University.
You will be contacted in writing if the University requires further information from you in order to determine your application.
In some circumstances, there is a requirement under the Freedom of Information Act 1991 (SA) for the University to consult with third parties regarding the disclosure of a document under that Act prior to determining whether access to the relevant document can be provided. These circumstances are set out in Division 2, Part 3 of the Act.
Your application will be determined within 30 days, unless the University informs you in writing that an extension is required.
You will be notified in writing of the outcome of your application.
