To capture, celebrate and promote innovative practice across Australian Islamic schooling, the Centre for Islamic Thought & Education is calling for images of practice.

From this call, CITE aims to collate a pool of captivating images, which will highlight the diversity and breadth of our practice within Islamic schooling, which can also be utilised for various instructional, research, marketing and or promotional purposes.

We are seeking quality images with impact that are inspiring.

INTENT

The intent of this call is to:

  • Assist to demystify our research, specifically research-based practice for teaching in Islamic schools, and highlight its relevance and impact;
  • Recognise and show case the creativity and breath of innovative practice across Islamic schooling in Australia;
  • Strengthen our Centre’s research positioning as a research leader, at a state and national level, amongst our peers as well as to the community, industry and government organisations;
  • Create an inspiring and current research photography database that can be utilised for instructional, research, marketing and or promotional purposes.

SUBMISSION ELIGIBILITY

Submission of images must be approved by the principal of the school and must provide relevant consent/permission for sharing.

Any photographic image submitted must meet the following specifications:

300dpi at an approximate minimum size of 6000 pixels x 6000 pixels or 500mm x 500mm, saved as either a .jpg or .tif. File size 6MB or greater.
