Professor Mohamad Abdalla has been invited to join the World Science Forum 2017 which will take place from 7th to 11th November 2017 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre at the Dead Sea, Jordan, under the gracious Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and in the presence of the World Science Forum patrons, His Excellency János Áder, President of Hungary, and Her Excellency Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO.
The theme of 'Science for Peace', the WSF 2017’s programme will examine how science and science policy can improve lives, protect the planet, and build a durable and secure future for all of our world’s citizens. WSF 2017 marks a new chapter as scientists, policymakers, academics, and stakeholders focus on the global challenges that define our age, including energy, food and water, social equity, education, climate changes, sustainable development, alleviation of poverty, and science and research.
