Thought leaders, executives and emerging leaders from not-for-profit organisations came together on April 21, 2021, at the sell-out inaugural Shaping the Future of Non-Profit Leadership conference to explore how we can steer the community sector towards the best possible future. We invite you to join us for the next installment of this valuable conversation. On Monday 19 June 2023 we will share insights from our eminent speakers to focus on questions of diversity and inclusion in leadership.

About the event

How can leaders today foster the best possible future for the not-for-profit sector? How can we build our organisational capacity and drive innovation? And how can we ensure the next generation of the sector’s leaders strive to maximise social outcomes, and are equipped to do so?

To explore these questions and more, we invite you to join Anglicare SA, Helping Hand, Uniting Communities and the University of South Australia on 19 June 2023 for Shaping the Future of Non-Profit Leadership.

For this year’s event we are hoping to stimulate conversation in the not-for-profit sector about driving diversity and inclusion that will position the sector as a leader not a responder for these key organisational outcomes.

Alongside being able to identify and to address these challenges, we recognise the importance of ensuring the sector's emerging leaders are values-driven, ethically minded, and equipped to steer not-for-profit organisations towards the best possible future for the sector and the community.

As we come together in the new Uniting Communities U City building for this interactive conference, our exciting line-up of speakers and panellists, including organisation leaders and experts at the forefront of research, will share their knowledge on capacity building and opportunities for innovation within our not-for-profit sector.

In addition to exploring how non-profit organisations can be equipped to develop sustainable, scalable business models, our program addresses how critically important it is for future leaders to maintain a values-driven approach that understands the importance of mission to the business of not-for-profit organisations.
