Faced with one of the most complex, rapidly changing and diverse business environments in history, just how businesses future-proof their operations is literally a multi-million dollar question.
But it is one UniSA Business School is setting out to answer with a one-day symposium - Future-Proof Your Business - featuring top insights from a panel of experts who will focus on the elements of leadership, management and entrepreneurship that can and do make a difference to business longevity and success.
The symposium will be held on August 31 2015 at UniSA’s City West campus.
Dedicated to identifying trends now and into the millennium, the symposium targets senior business leaders.
Director of UniSA’s Strategic Partnerships Ross Morriss says the aim of the day is to equip managers with the latest knowledge, research, and forecasting about business trends, opportunities and challenges.
“We’ll be exploring what’s likely to come next and then how middle managers and leaders can be better equipped for the future,” Morriss says.
“That includes a look at all the business, leadership and management skills they’ll need to be adaptable, effective and successful in new and evolving business environments.”
International experts in their fields, the keynote speakers – Director UniSA Centre for Business Growth, Prof Jana Matthews; head of the School of Management, Prof Thomas Maak; sustainable business expert Dr Geoff Wells; physicist and expert in lean leadership, Dr Neil Davidson; entrepreneurship specialist, Dr Shruti Sardeshmukh; communications, neuroscience and choice expert, Dr Luke Greenacre - will offer practical suggestions for applying insights and innovations to any organisation.
