“UniSA definitely stands out when it comes to networking events and meeting other students. Whether that’s a barbecue or a catch-up at the community gardens, there’s always a chance to connect and make new friends.”
Even though the administration and organisation of studies are quite similar to my home university, UniSA definitely stands out when it comes to networking events and meeting other students. Whether that’s a barbecue or a catch-up at the community gardens, there’s always a chance to connect and make new friends.
Before looking for destinations for my semester abroad, I had not heard of Adelaide. I only became aware of this beautiful city because my home university and UniSA are partner universities. When I came here, I was quite surprised about the size of the city since I had expected a bigger city but because of its size, it is easy to get to the beach, the hills and the wineries.
UniSA Buddies have definitely helped me enormously in getting to know other students. The events they have organised have allowed me to meet people from different cultures while also helping me to feel welcomed and integrated into the UniSA community.
During the four months I lived in Adelaide, I can say life generally is very quiet, laid-back and relaxed. Adelaide let’s you sit back and enjoy the beauty of life. At the same time, there are a lot of different events happening that you can engage in with like-minded people, which allows you to make new connections.
The best experience was that everybody in this city and at UniSA has been very welcoming and kind.
