The orientation program at the University of South Australia has recently been redeveloped. We have condensed our orientation program to one week of informative and fun events for new students, including program specific orientation activities for both international and domestic students.
This change affects our major two intakes, Study Period 2 (February) and Study Period 5 (July), which previously had a two week schedule. There is no change to orientation for any other intake.
From 2016, orientation will commence one week prior to classes for all Study Periods (1 through 6):
- SP2 2016 – Orientation week commencing on 22 February, with class commencement on 29 February
- SP5 2016 – Orientation week commencing on 18 July, with class commencement on 25 July
All newly created offers will include the above dates, if you have any students with an offer for either SP2 or SP5 which shows the old orientation date, please inform them of this change. The change has no effect on COEs or student visas that have already been issued with the old orientation dates.
