A range of new business degrees will be offered in 2019 - from design and marketing to real estate practice and financial planning. These new degrees have been developed to align and reflect the very latest in industry standards and help students’ get career ready. See below for a list of new programs – more details to come soon.
Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing)
The Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing) combines two complementary fields to equip you for a specialist marketing career in digital and print design. You will gain foundation knowledge in design and evidence-based marketing and learn how to apply design principles across a range of marketing activities. You will also learn about the creative elements of advertising and how to work collaboratively with graphic designers to create high quality marketing materials.
Bachelor of Business (Real Estate Practice)
This degree will provide you with the skills to manage available resources, and foundation knowledge of management and marketing systems for real estate. You will gain an understanding of agency and property development, building, planning and land use, as well as real estate law and investment. You will graduate prepared for a career as a real estate agent or property manager in residential, commercial and industrial property.
Degrees in Financial Planning
From 2019, you can study Financial Planning at a bachelor, graduate diploma or masters level. With a strong industry focus, these professionally-accredited degrees meet the education requirements to practice as a financial planner. You will develop skills in areas such as personal budgeting, superannuation and retirement planning, investment management, financial risk management, insurance planning and tax planning, and learn to develop financial and documentation that comply with laws and regulations.
