Financial Planning vs Finance
Financial Planning
- Prepares you to practice as a qualified financial planner under new national (Australian) regulations
- Teaches you to prepare financial plans with a focus on budgeting, superannuation and retirement planning, insurance/risk management and estate planning
- Currently the only bachelor’s degree of its kind in South Australia
Finance
- Prepares you for more of a generalist finance career with a focus on borrowing, lending, investment, banking and business advisory
- The Bachelor of Business (Finance) can be doubled with the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and be completed in four years
