UniSA is proud to offer 22 new scholarship opportunities for international students, thanks to the largest privately-funded foreign scholarship scheme in the University’s history.
The International Student Entrepreneurship Capital company, established by businessman Raymond Wang, has agreed a five-year partnership with UniSA to offer the range of scholarships annually from 2015.
A total pool of AUD$90,000 is available in scholarship funding for 2015, starting with opportunities available to undergraduate and Masters students.
Two tiers of scholarships will be offered to students from Hong Kong, Singapore‚ Malaysia and China who are enrolled to commence onshore full-time undergraduate study at UniSA.
Class A Scholarships are valued at AUD$5,000 and Class B Scholarships are valued at AUD$3,000. Ten scholarships from each Class will be offered annually, and recipient allocation will be based on academic merit from secondary schooling.
Applicants must provide a personal written statement outlining how the scholarship would assist them and why they have chosen to study at UniSA.
Payment will be made in two instalments in the first year of study after the Study Period 2 and Study Period 5 census dates, provided the recipients continue to be enrolled full-time and maintain a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 5 or above.
The ISEC Masters Scholarship will be offered annually to two international students from Hong Kong‚ Singapore‚ Malaysia and China. It is valued at $5,000 and available to students who are enrolled in an onshore full-time Masters program at UniSA.
Applicants must provide a personal written statement outlining why they have chosen to undertake postgraduate study at UniSA. Academic merit will also be considered in the selection process.
Payment will be made in two instalments in their first year of study after the Study Period 2 and Study Period 5 census dates, provided they continue to be enrolled full-time and maintain a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 5 or above.
