Benefit from a partnership with leading researchers and bright young minds

UniSA is always looking to form partnerships with like-minded organisations to develop placement opportunities, research collaborations and professional development. Discover how our talented students and experienced academic staff can contribute to your organisation through a placement or research partnership with the University of South Australia.

Offering a placement opportunity to a psychology, social work or social science student under supervision allows the next generation of professionals to gain valuable industry experience, while providing your organisation with assistance and problem-solving.

A partnership between your organisation and our researchers or postgraduate students can assist with questions or activities your organisation would like to research, such as evaluating the effectiveness of a program, examining a policy and its implications, or developing and implementing a program.

We can also provide:

  • professional development
  • masterclasses on topical issues
  • use of our state-of-the-art studio and other training facilities within the University
  • research applying evidence-based learnings and translating this into practice
  • streamlined pre-placement organisation
  • supervision training for staff
  • other targeted training.

Please note that the student-led honours thesis research projects are presented to the students at the end of their third year of study. This occurs in mid-November for social science and social work, and in January for psychology, when students select the project they will undertake in the following year.

Submit an expression of interest form to our team who will advise if your research interest is better suited for a thesis topic, research placement or research project with our staff.
