To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the sister relationship between Shandong province and the state of South Australia seven artists from Shandong visited South Australia in September 2016. The following year in May five South Australian artists visited Shandong, China to explore the landscape and culture. The results are a unique collection of works by the twelve participating artists inspired by the landscape and people of South Australia and Shandong.
