The exhibition Let Me Be Myself - The Life Story of Anne Frank had its world premiere in 2015 in Canberra, Australia. Since then it was introduced worldwide in several countries.

The exhibition details the life story of Anne Frank from her birth in Frankfurt in 1929 to her death in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945.

The exhibition connects the personal story of the Frank family with the important historical events of that time: the rise of the national socialists, the isolation and discrimination of the Jewish population, eventually escalating in the Holocaust. The connection between the personal story of Anne Frank and the historical context shows the consequences the anti-Jewish measures had on one particular person.

Let Me Be Myself highlights the contemporary relevance of Anne Frank’s story – addressing subjects like prejudice, exclusion and discrimination.
