University of South Australia's PhD candidates are rising to the challenge to present their research with one slide and just three minutes - showcasing the ideas that promise a lifetime of impact. Our students are tackling issues such as inequalities in education, aged care services, and in the workplace, as well as exploring advancements in cancer treatment and care. The 3MT competition is a global celebration of research, held in over 900 universities across 85+ countries. Since 2010, UniSA has hosted its own 3MT competition, highlighting the incredible and diverse research across our Academic Units.
The 2024 UniSA 3MT Grand Final will be introduced by Professor Sandra Orgeig and hosted by journalist Julia Lester. Candidates will compete for a chance to win $3,000 and represent UniSA in the 2024 Asia-Pacific Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition.
