The 2011 SA Refugee Week will be officially launched by Senator Kate Lundy, Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs; Senator for the ACT
In the presence of Mr Hieu Van Le, Lieutenant Governor of South Australia and Patron of the Migrant Resource Centre of SA and The Hon Grace Portolesi, Minister for Multicultural Affairs.
SA Refugee Week launch was followed by the Launch of the exhibition Hand in Hand
While the views presented by speakers within the Hawke Centre public program are their own and are not necessarily those of either the University of South Australia or The Hawke Centre, they are presented in the interest of open debate and discussion in the community and reflect our themes of: strengthening our democracy - valuing our cultural diversity - and building our future.
