The Planetarium is so much more than just a display of the night sky. We can individually cater for your classroom teaching by tailoring a session specifically for topics you are exploring with your students. Whether that be constellations and star patterns, the composition of the Solar System, conditions and weather on other planets, to Black Holes and the structure of the Universe, we can support your teaching and learning needs.

In this Professional Development workshop, we will show you how the Planetarium can link to your curriculum needs, enriching the teaching of Earth and Space Sciences for your students.

Additionally, UniSA STEM Outreach runs a number of free workshops that can be booked in conjunction with a visit to the Planetarium, such as Space Race and Packing for Transit, as well as a wide range of standalone STEM programs. At this Professional Learning workshop, you will experience some example activities from these programs while learning about how we can provide enriching, exciting STEM experiences for you and your students.

Participants will be provided with a teacher professional learning certificate.

Bookings essential as spaces are limited.

Please email Allison @ allison.price@unisa.edu.au to reserve your spot. An invoice wil be sent out to you for payement.
