We will take you on a captivating journey across the Universe. Join one of our highly experienced astronomers as they guide you through constellations, the Solar System and beyond. Marvel at the immense scale of the universe and observe the breathtaking beauty of the night skies projected on the eight-metre domed ceiling. This session features a fulldome movie, 'Cosmic Collisions'.  Family fun to suit all ages!  

A radical change from our peaceful night sky. Cosmic Collisions presents the spectacular result of gravity pulling together planets, stars, and galaxies. Here are explosive encounters that ended the age of the dinosaurs and gave birth to new stars, but also created conditions essential for life on earth the Sun’s warmth, ocean waves. Cosmic Collisions provides an extraordinary view of these forces - constructive or catastrophic - that continue to affect our universe.

**Everyone entering the Planetarium is required to purchase a ticket and all children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted into the Planetarium without an accompanying adult. *Please see note below for children under 4.

*Please note the Planetarium is not suitable for children under 4 years old. If you do bring younger children, we request that they sit on your lap, and you place yourself closer to the door. As a courtesy to other patrons, if your child becomes restless and noisy, we ask that you please exit the Planetarium. We have a foyer area for patrons who will be caring for younger siblings.
