We will take you on a captivating journey across the Universe. Join one of our highly experienced astronomers as they guide you through constellations, the Solar System and beyond. Marvel at the immense scale of the universe and observe the breathtaking beauty of the night skies projected on the eight-metre domed ceiling. This session features a fulldome movie 'Astronaut'.

The exploration of space is the greatest endeavour that humankind has ever undertaken. What does it take to be part of this incredible journey? What does it take to become an astronaut? Experience a rocket launch from inside the body of an astronaut. Explore the amazing worlds of inner and outer space, from floating around the International Space Station to manoeuvring through microscopic regions of the human body. Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject ‘Chad’, our test astronaut, to everything that space has to throw at him. 

**Everyone entering the Planetarium is required to purchase a ticket and all children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted into the Planetarium without an accompanying adult. *Please see note below for children under 4.

*Please note the Planetarium is not suitable for children under 4 years old. If you do bring younger children, we request that they sit on your lap, and you place yourself closer to the door. As a courtesy to other patrons, if your child becomes restless and noisy, we ask that you please exit the Planetarium. We have a foyer area for patrons who will be caring for younger siblings.
