A Design Construct project
In 2014, the Design Construct program was engaged by the Friends of the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens to design and build a new shelter for visitors wishing to rest, meet and assemble for guided tours. The winning student design by Samuel Chua was chosen from amongst 100 design proposals.
Students participated in the prefabrication and installation of building components over the following year and construction of the project was completed in October 2015.
