Muhammad Razlan with Malaysia Chapter Committee members at the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council Awards

Break barriers and build bridges!

When Muhammad Razlan was just 10 years old, he lost his eyesight completely because of early-onset glaucoma. Taking this in his stride, Razlan went on to graduate from UniSA with a commendation, participate in the Adelaide City marathon, and represent Australia in Goalball. His passion for inclusivity and accessibility has made him a well-known advocate for the visually impaired community in Malaysia, where he was recently awarded the prestigious Distinguished Young Alumni Award. more…

Share your thoughts: What makes an extraordinary Vice Chancellor?

We are undertaking an international search to find a Vice Chancellor and President for the new Adelaide University who embodies the vision and values of the institution, as well as our guiding behaviours – authentic, ambitious, curious, respectful, and inclusive. As a member of our alumni community, we want you to be part of the process. We are seeking a truly extraordinary leader, but we also realise that “extraordinary” means different things to different people. The Chancellor of the Adelaide University Transition Council, Pauline Carr, invites staff, students and alumni from our foundation institutions to help inform the selection process by sharing their views about the most important attributes and qualities for our new Vice Chancellor. The survey is open from 5 February to 7 March 2025.
