What Women Hold is a collaborative exhibition of work by artists of The Art Bus and Catherine House, presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre. This mixed-media exhibition, on display at the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, showcases work that is personal and insightful, it is both raw and at times playful. Audiences are invited to engage with powerful true stories of women’s complex experiences of homelessness. What Women Hold celebrates what women hold to feel safe, to thrive, and to be celebrated.

This is all Human Made will feature work from Squish Squash, an Australian illustration and animation community, showcasing both completed pieces and works in progress. By revealing the creative journey behind drawing, painting, and animating, the exhibit offers an intimate look at the intricate human processes that shape visual creativity. Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre in the Kerry Packer civic Gallery, this exhibition is a timely opportunity to showcase the importance of process in the creative practice and explore artists responses to the evolving digital landscape that AI is shaping.

Congratulations to Samson Bisafo
Samson Bisafo graduated from UniSA on 24 September 2024, having been UniSA's first student to be sponsored by the Solomon Islands Tertiary Education Skills Authority – National Scholarship Division and Master of Management (Tourism and Event Management). Samson has already secured employment in his native country, appointed a new role as Manager Business of Investment and Commercial Services (BICs) at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU). Samson is humbled to receive this new position and is determined to drive positive change for SINU and the local Solomon Islands community.
