Looking across the transformation horizon, we have taken significant steps in the advancement of a new for-purpose Adelaide University.

Following our formal establishment under State legislation, I’m very pleased to inform you that Adelaide University is now formally registered as an Australian University higher education provider through receipt of the necessary Commonwealth approvals from our regulators. This signals clear confidence in our collective pursuit for educational excellence and equity – to become a driving force for good with impact that transcends borders around the world.

We look forward to writing this next memorable chapter with you as we prepare to take Adelaide University to the world in mid-July. This will see us reflect on the strength of UniSA’s legacy as Australia’s University of Enterprise (and always unstoppable in our pursuits), while also building a new story and an enduring brand that will honour where we have come from and point to where we are going.

We hope that you’ll continue to be part of this journey as we seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape better futures for new generations of contemporary learners and global citizens – and to create a strong affiliation and affinity to the new institution that we can all be truly proud of.

Professor David Lloyd
Vice Chancellor, The University of South Australia
