President 2025/2026
Gerard Benedict joined the UniSA Malaysia Alumni Chapter in 2007, after graduating with an MA in Communication Management.
He has been actively involved in the Association since 2019, serving as Internal Auditor (2020), Secretary for two terms and Vice-President in 2023. Gerard is now the 2025/2026 President.
Gerard was a teacher and a part-time radio sportscaster before joining the pioneer batch of broadcast journalists and news presenters at Malaysia's first commercial TV network - TV3 in 1984.
He is the co-founder and managing director of Code Computer Design, a company that has been involved in computer animation and TV documentary production for the past 34 years. Gerard also produces, writes and directs documentaries, a few of which were commissioned by the History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network (CI).
